Restaurant wedding in Ottawa

I'm interested in holding a small wedding reception (25-30 people) in a restaurant in Ottawa with the best food humanly possible. A private dining room would be nice, but not essential. I'm a huge fan of Beckta, but I was wondering if you had any other suggestions.

I would recommend Par'fyum simply because they could accomodate for a larger group like that, and they also have an event coordinator that helps the planning. I think it's a fairly common occurence with them..

Beckta would be wonderful and Les fougères is a fantastic choice just outside of the city (the decor would be a bit more special and "weddingy).

If you like Beckta, have you considered parfyum in Gatineau(where former Beckta chef Steven Vardy is now the chef)?

My cousin held his wedding at the Courtyard restaurant. I did not attend so I can't comment on the food but he said it was a wonderful wedding and other family members raved about the food. The pictures made it look like a lovely spot for a wedding and it is right downtown in the market area.

If you aren't strictly limited to the city and were willing to travel about 20 minutes into the Gatineau hills, I would try out Les Fougeres. The food is fabulous, service attentive and the setting very pretty - especially now in the fall.
