Hi,

I haven't seen too many recent reviews of this place.

Has anyone been here that would like to share their experience? I'm taking a friend there tomorrow night for her birthday!

Here is their website: http://www.thebluehorse.net

Thanks,
Laura

really haven't been too pleased the few times I tried it, neither was the company I was with. It was a while ago, and the only thing that I did really enjoy is an appetizer that is no longer on their new menu! sorry nothing positive to report.
I'd much rather go to Mirna's Cafe

I wish I could give you more specifics (it was about a year and a half ago and I can't remember what I had) but I do remember it to be overpriced, with mediocre food, and really bad service. Again, I only went once, and it was a while ago......and it was bad.

Do you have to stick to Blue Bell? There is also that other restaurant Bourbon (near Mirna's). I haven't been but was told that it's better now than when it first opened.

We haven't been to Bourbon, we'll get there eventually but it doesn't particularly appeal. And though many of our friends enjoy it, we do not care for Mirna's - mediocre food and lousy service. But we love Korea Garden in the same shopping center. They have wonderful barbeque and very nice sashimi.

We also love Ravenna though Fuzion is not a fave. But certainly Fuzion over The Blue Horse any day.

Oh, you know El Serape is not bad, if you like Mexican - or go down way down 73 to Tamarindos, their whole snapper is terrific!

I wasn't very impressed with Blue Horse the one time I went. How about Ravenna or Fuzion? You could probably get into Allison but it's a bit expensive (worth it, but a bit expensive). The fact that it is byob helps.

            Hi everyone!

Thanks for the input. I'll report back tomorrow to let you know how the Blue Horse went tonight. I can't believe that I haven't been to these other wonderful places! I grew up in the area, though mainly go into Skippack or Chalfont/Doylestown/New Hope if staying local. Otherwise, I go downtown.

Anyway, it's nice to hear so many things about places I've driven by....now I just need to pull in....
