ishbilya, (william street) and randa (kensington church street), london
has sadly gone downhill. dunno what the problem is, but everythings coming out insipid and bored. even the glorious foul muqqala tastes blehh.
but randa, yet another maroush spawn on kensington church street, is doing very well. after a few teething troubles, they've settled into a nice groove. excellent taouk and toom, fresh crispy tabbouleh. sadly no foul muqqala. and the sister ranoush juice bar just down the road on ken sington high street has delish juices.
in general, the once downhill maroush seems to have picked up its game and is now rocking. the signature restaurant in beauchamp (pronounced 'beecham') place is back to its former glorious self and the various branches reflect that. i wonder if al waha in westbourne grove is back too?
