incredible sandwiches
I was in Manayunk this weekend, and had what I would consider the best sandwich i ever had. It was at a small little place called Angelo's and Josephine's. They mostly sell Italian Specialties, Meats and cheeses, but they sell sandwiches also. I had a turkey and artichoke panini with some sharp provelone. It was huge, and it fed me for both lunch and dinner. Oh yeah, and it was $6.50. My husband had a proscuitto, fresh moz, tomato, basil, and artichoke panini, and he said the same thing - best sandwich ever. I'm not sure how long this place has been open, but we will surely be back very soon. It is on the same block as the bayou, maybe two doors down.
