Pescheria - San Francisco/Noe Valley (Joey & Eddy's)

Stopped by last night and had a nice fresh seafood meal. Beautifully fresh oysters (kumamoto and hog island) with killer mignonette with little cracked peppercorns in there. Loved the petrale sole and the lobster with lemon risotto. Very nice dessert as well, a delicious paper thin fruit tart and panna cotta with a cabernet reduction sauce.

The joint was jumping and they don't even have a website yet. A very good sign. Great that they have a full bar, this end of the hood needs it. Very cool Italian wine list, too (reminds me of Incanto's).

All in all a great addition to the area. They seemed a little disorganized at times but were all trying very hard to be attentive and to coordinate with each other. This was only their 4th night open. In a few weeks I'd say they'll be running more efficiently. The place gets a bit loud when it's cranking in there.

Can't wait until they open the patio.

Thanks for giving it a try. Could you tell us the general price range or your tab?

The entrees ranged from $15 to $19 (lobster) and the oysters were $2 per.

If they have it on the menu, try the seared scallops with a lovely reduction sauce and paired with just a layering of delicious parsnip/potato puree. I know, you gotta try it to see. Possibly a signature dish and the one I will go back for.
