Anyone have thoughts on where to get a good slice near 51st and lex? (within a 5-10 minute walk?)

I must say, I have been to Krunch Pizza once and was really turned off by it. I felt the cheese they used was g-d awful. I thought a lot of the ingredients were off. This was a couple of months ago.

When I lived over there my work schedule never worked with Fresco on the Go.. Have you tried the pizza there..

I did go to Krunch the other day, and was very unimpressed. The crust wsa tough and flavorless, and the toppings as well didn't do much for me. The pomodoro was ok, but that was it. Anyone have thoughts for just a good, regular, slice in the area?

I agree about Krunch..the crust was like a cracker!

I like the slice at Abertino's on 1st and 52nd. It is close to a classic NY Slice. I have never tried anything but the regular, and never had it delivered, but the in-house slice is pretty good.

I like Ultimate Pizza on the North East corner of 57th and 1st. They renovated and they got a nice clean sitting area.
