I love the Israeli drink sachlav. I used to get it at Bissaleh, I wanted to know:
(a) Does anyone have a good recipe for it?
(b) Where else do they sell good sachlav in the Brooklyn, NY area?

Salep is available at several places in Brooklyn. There's one on Coney Is Ave near the corner of Ave N (near Shnitzel King), and one on Kings Highway near Pita Sababa (near E 4th). I've not tried it at either place, so I can't comment on the quality. I'm actually surprised that Amazon Cafe hasn't got it.
