Found this website while replying to another thread. They have some recipes that include almond butter. ... Put Almond Butter in the search box.

Did you want to make almond butter out of almonds, or use almond butter in other recipes? To make it, you would simply grind the almonds and some flavorless oil such as grapeseed in a blender or food processor until you reach the desired consistency. You could add a little honey or other sweetener and a pinch of salt if you want.

Funny I was going to ask this earlier.

I did find one from Whole foods, called carrot with almond butter dressing, but I haven't tried it myself (not a big fan of carrots).

However, I'd also like to hear if others have better ideas.

I'd love some recipes too rather than just substituting almond butter in place of say peanut butter. I have two jars I need to use. I have a recipe for a decadent chocolate pie I was thinking of substituting almond butter in. Almond and chocolate usually tastes kinda nice. I guess I'll wait and see if any replies come in (along with you).

When confronted with a surfeit of almond butter, I make almond butter cookies.

            Cream together:
            1 c. butter
            1 c. almond butter

            Beat in:
            1 c. brown sugar
            1 c. white sugar

            Stir in:
            2 eggs
            1 tsp vanilla
            1 tsp salt
            1 tsp baking soda
            1 cup flour
            1 cup ground almonds

Arrange by teaspoonfuls on coookie sheet, flatten with fork or spoon. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.

            Eat all up

            (repeat)
