Please recommend somewhere for us to go to dinner in Times Square area. We will be needing to eat around 9:00 next Thursday night. We are coming in on the train from Connecticut after attending a meeting all week so we need somewhere we can be somewhat flexible on the time. No asian or seafood. Thanks

I like Angus McIndoe on 44th between 8th and Broadway. Upscale Irish place, good burgers, steak, and roast chicken, nice atmosphere. The staff is really kind and flexible. Here's a great article on the place:

I'd go for Market Café on 9th Avenue between 37th & 38th Streets.

At that hour, the pre-theater crowds are long gone, so you should be able to walk into many restaurants. Then it depends on what type of food you are in the mood for and how much you want to spend. Here are some options:

There are only two non-seafood restaurants in that area that are remotely tolerable:

Tintol (which is quite good) and Virgil's BBQ (which is at least edible).
