Locanda Cipriani on Torcello in Venice-Good?

Came highly recommended but am curious if anyone has been or has suggestions. We'll be there Wednesday for lunch.

Was last there about 8 years ago, but it was wonderful. Is best for lunch since it is a bit of a trek to get out and back, and if the sun is shining, the view of the garden is great.

Don't miss it - I haven't been there in a few years, but the setting is incredible - (excellent food too).

Sorry, only advice I have is from the parents about 35 years ago. They wound up effectively crashing a private party (wedding) when my mum first took my dad to Venice. But I was thinking it would make a good 60th present for mum in a couple of years. (Having taken dad to le manoir aux quat'saison two years ago. Can't recommend that place highly enough). Personally, Torcello is so beautiful that nothing could spoil it. But, if you through food in to the equation I am torn. Please let me know if it is worth it if you do go as it is (thanks to the parents) on the must do list.
