gonzales y gonzales???
I know absolutely nothing about this place but it's 2 blocks from my apartment. My guess is it's no good but anybody have experiences of it? Might it be acceptable for quick drinks or snacks after a film? Or?????
It's not very good, but it doesn't have to be if you just want to sit at the bar and have a drink & some chips & salsa after the Angelika. In my experience, nothing on the menu will kill you or thrill you. The crowd is kind of obnoxious but the bar is long, & you can usually find some space for yourself.
One notable: it did serve as the exterior for "the Mexican plkace downstairs" on the TV show NewsRadio.
