You can probably get them to go from Skipjacks just down a block. Summer Shack further dowon Boylston St., maybe Atlantic Seafood. Is there any sort of lobster sandwich on the Parish Cafe menu? They're not really the easiest things to eat while walking.

Unfortunately the lobster roll at the Parish was removed from the menu last time I was there, a couple of weeks ago. It was great though, the toasted hot dog rolls were lined with bacon, tomato confit and Hellman's mayo.

I haven't had a lobster roll at any of these places, but I agree I'd check out Summer Shack, Skipjacks, Atlantic Sfd, maybe even Legals at the Pru or Copley.

I don't really recommend the Summer Shack roll over the other choices. See this post: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/show/...

I haven't had the Legal's roll, but there is one right there at Park Plaza.

I do agree with Joanie and think it bears repeating: a lobbie roll is not exactly "walking around" food. At least, the good ones aren't!

      How about Rachel's Kitchen?

I think it's available only on Friday's and it's the hot buttered style as opposed to the cold, mayo based.

          You are correct, sir:
"connecticut style" hot lobster roll - 13.95
hot lobster served in a buttery toasted brioche roll, finished with drawn lobster butter and chives *friday only!*limited quantity!*

You could also get the Lobster Sliders at 28 Degrees, which, IMHO, are quite good and not very far from the PP.

The Skipjack's lobster roll is mediocre at best and very overpriced. Too bad about Parish's -- it was lovely.
