Fabulous Spice, Tea & coffee store in Main Line area

Hello. I read another post about a spice store and realized that one of my favorite places, the Head Nut in South Ardmore, may not be something that others are familiar with.

It is an amazing spice place. It really is a hidden gem. As an example, they have 6/7 kinds of black pepper! Their cinnamon is fabulous. It tastes like the Cinnabun store smells. They also have candy, teas, dried fruits, oatmeal, and their coffee! They have at least 50 kinds of coffee. They also have many hard to find items.

Just a note of Head Nut ettiquete, you browse first, then get in line and one person will help you. They take the items from the jars. (You get yelled at if you do it) You are allowed to bring the jars to the counter though. They have a website too.

  1. They also have a great variety of different flour, rices, nuts (obviously) in all different forms. Those are kept in large barrels behind the counter. And, all sorts of baking chocolate, from chunks to discs, light, dark, white, whatever you need.

They're located in Ardmore (Delaware County) at the corner of Eagle and Haverford Roads.
