Many of our members share bottles of wine, apps, desserts, you name it. Splitting the bill has been a little bit easier when we caught on to "personal tabs". The host sets out a small pre-printed slip with places to itemize the individual’s (or couple’s) bill. At the end of the evening they turn them in, it gets calculated with the tax and tip and returned to the individuals. Its quick, quiet and painless. But now I want to get computerized. I have seen a little “bill-splitting" shareware program that calculates individual (or couple's) tabs. So far the best one is Tipsey for the Palm, BUT I have a Pocket PC. Since I have been sampling the programs for Pocket PC I’ve found a couple of them seem to have glitches. Does anyone have experience using this stuff? Your opinions are really welcome!
