what to do with paprika paste

a family member brought me a tube of paprika paste from a trip to Hungary any suggestions as to what I can do with it?

    Hungarian goulash should come to mind instantly...

    2. wow, I've never heard of that. I think I'd just squeeze a little in everything. First thing to come in mind... hummus, or in a nut based sauce.

        1. I would add it to paprikash. I've no idea what the authentic recipe might be like, but I saute some aromatics and paprika, deglaze with wine, and then put in a large can of crushed tomatoes and shredded chicken, bubble that a while, and then right before service stir in sour cream, and pour over rice.

          It looks terrible but it tastes great, very homey.

          Is it sweet paprika, or smoked? Just plain?

          1. Add ground cumin, ground caraway, a little ground cinnamon and some melted butter and a touch of honey. Brush on Salmon and grill. Serve with grilled peach halves.
