red hook ballfields

are they still going strong?

are there any old standards (not Alma, 360, etc.) that remind you of the longshoremen days in RH?

Used to get sandwiches at Defonte's, when I worked on the docks, 40+ years ago.

the best tacos (only tacos if you ask me) in NY will be up and running through the end of Oct., just don't tell anyone.

Defonte's is very good. There's also a couple of good bars around, too.

I think that Defonte's is not open on Sunday, so only if you go to the ballfields on Saturday will it work for you.

We were scared off by the weather reports that it would rain---were they running at full capacity or have some of the vendors left?
