Cesar's Spanish Mercado on Piedmont Ave

I was happy to learn that Cesar opened their mercado in the Piedmont Ave location. I purchased some delicious fig jam and some really nice freshly baked cookies (don't miss the sweet potatoe cookies) They have some great charcuterie meats and deli-style salads to go. I think they have a good selection of reasonably priced (<$20) spanish wines, although I didn't get into them. I think you can buy the orange-saffron and mexican chocolate ice creams too!

I visited the mercado on Monday and picked up a a bar of Ludomar dark chocolate with hazelnuts, sweet and hot piementon and an assortment of cookies. All the cookies that I tried were quite good (except for the pine nut ones...which were a little too pine nut-y for my taste) and pretty reasonably priced at a bakers dozen for $4.50. The mercado also has ramekins, olive wood spoons and the like. I heard they also had housemade potato chips, but I didn't see them.
