Abbreviations - DC, DH?

What do DC and DH mean on these boards? By context, they seem to be used to identify a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. I can see DC being used for "Dining Companion" or "Domestic Companion", but I keep ending up with "Designated Hitter" for DH. :)

I have concluded it's that or dear hound. Can anyone clarify for sure ???

Pablo was right - it's usually meant to be Dear or Darling Husband.
