Coffee Crunch Cake like at Blum's or Best Seven-Layer Mocha Cake

Is there any place in LA where you can get something similar to the Blums coffee cruch cake? My husband loves seven-layer mocha cakes and his birthday is coming up. I think he'd love a coffee crunch cake if I can find one.

    Was Blums downtown, on Grand near 6th? My mom used to get their chocolate cake for my grandfather, It was great!

          Do you want to make it yourself? The recipe is in one of the L.A. Times' "Dear S.O.S." compilations. You make or buy an angel-food cake and make the coffee crunch. I can paraphrase it over on the Home Cooking board if you're interested.
