I attended a wedding/wedding reception on the Berkeley. The wedding took place on the ship and was beautiful while the sun was still shining. In the evening the site was nothing short of magical: the lights from the harbor, the lovely little windows all around, dancing on the decks.

The food was fantastic. However, I don't know any specifics about who was the caterer. Don't know if they have a required caterer - and if so, if it is still the same company. I'd be sure to get good tastings.

I expect it may be one of the more costly venues for a wedding in San Diego. You may find equally excellent settings with ocean views for less, depending upon if its an evening reception or not.

Thanks. Do you know how many attended?? I know they have their own caterer, and the menue is extensive, so maybe they used them. You also can use outside caterers. How was the setup inside, was it a sit down or buffet?? Thanks for the info.
