Dodger Stadium or Angels Stadium

Who has the better food? Everything from hot dogs to nachos to grilled items.

I think the Angels have more variety of foods. They have an outdoor grill with ribs, chicken and hot dogs. Nothing great but it's something the Dodgers do not have.

  1. Angels stadium has a hooters resto. ha!

    1. Sorry, but I'll go Angels any night over Dodgers just for the parking situation. . . .and the fact that it's not far from other food options besides what's inside. I hate to say it, but my favorite food in a stadium so far was in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. Hot dogs and BBQ rule there.

      1. Both stadiums have mediocre food, although I'd go Angels for the game experience over the Dodgers anyday. The best food at a sports venue in our are, IMHO, is at the Epicenter in Rancho Cucamonga. Their beef sandwiches, hebrew dogs, popcorn, soft serve ice cream, and their decent selection of premium beers...all at a reasonable price...are awesome. Too bad their season is over but keep in mind for next year. You'll also be able to see a game and eat great food for about half the price of the major league teams.

For really outstanding major league stadium food, the closest I've found is AT&T (formerly SBC) Park in San Francisco.

        1. I've had good meals in the clubhouse at Dodger Stadium. It's a buffet run by Puck with prime rib, a large salad bar, etc. Down in the stadium itself, it's just stadium food. Nothing special.

As mentioned, Angel Stadium has that grill going on, which is different, but in my book the food is not that good. I haven't been to their clubhouse, but the food in the suites is mediocre.

There's a good clubhouse at Staples Center. Not the bar, but a separate clubhouse upstairs. The food there was very good, better than the clubhouse at Dodger Stadium. It's a sit-down meal, as opposed to the buffet at Dodger Stadium.

          1. If you're talking hotdogs, the Dodger Dog wins hands down over the Weinersnitzel selectsions at the Big A.

Speaking of awful stadium food, I also went to see a Dodger road game at Petco Park in SD last month...The concession lines run way faster than Chavez Ravine but the food at Petco is so awful (also Weinersnitzel hotdogs, ugh). Even the Padres fans would agree.

Padres fans tell me to try Randy Jones BBQ at Petco. Petco's the only park in CA I haven't been to.
