Best local source for canning jars?

I've been getting Kerr mason jars @ the Ballard Safeway, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a local store with a really good selection of canning jars. I generally use plain 8 oz jars, but getting the quilted ones would be super cool. It would also be nice to get 4 oz jars. If there isn't a giid local source, I can always order some online, but I'd rather not deal with the shipping hassles.

McLendon's Hardware stores have a great selection of canning jars and supplies.

The only place that I've found that regularly carries the 4 oz Ball jars is (ick) WalMart. I go to the one in Lynnwood.

I just saw the quilted ones at either True Value on Greenwood or Ken's Market (a few doors down). At Ken's they're above the produce.

The big Goodwill on Dearborn has TONS of them and they are way cheap.

The Greenwood Market on 85th just west of Greenwood and next to Fred Meyer. They usually have many different sizes for sale. They are located towards the back of the store on top of one of the frozen food freezers.

For commercial jars for preserving and canning go to Richards Packaging (in South seattle- call first). They sell lots of different sizes. I like to use the 9 oz straight sided jars with lug lids (these are one piece screw on lids).

McLendon's on Rainier Ave S (that's the only location I'm familiar with - they have others) is the best I've found since Chubby & Tubby went toes up. Their prices are excellent and the selection of jars and accessories are excellent.

Try Bi-Mart. We got some Jelly Jars there today.

I got some really nice jars at Fred Meyer at 125th and Aurora... they had a pretty big selection, all different shapes and sizes. Here's a link to a picture, these have a really neat short, fat square shape. I think they are either six or eight ounces.
