Frozen Yogurt a la Yogurt Park
With the lucky, sunny weather we've been having in the city, I find myself with a hankering for frozen yogurt. The kind of place with a few flavors to choose from, with both simple and crazy toppings.
I don't really want ice cream or soft serve, I want the frozen yogurt of my youth, like what Yogurt Park in Walnut Creek was doing in the late eighties.
Anyone know of a place in the city? There used to be a spot in Laurel Village, but it closed before I got a chance to try it.
I don't get this craving often, but when it hits I am at a loss as to what to do. And I don't relish a drive across the Bay!
Tried to quench my desire with a soft-serve from BK today, that went very, very wrong...

Thanks all for the great suggestions! I can't wait to try the shops around Fillmore and Union, they are so close to me.
And the rec. for the San Bruno shop sounds very tempting, what with the variety and all.
I totally forgot about Berkeley's Yogurt Park, probably the original too. Next time I cross the bridge and it's hot out, I'm there.
Knew I could count on you guys for guidance, thank you.›2 Replies -

I'm not a frozen yogurt kind of gal. But I do know that the corner of Fillmore and Union in SF is fro-yo central. You've got two avid competitors, one on each side of the street. More info -
