Does anyone know where to purchase these beans? I purchased 1/2 lb for $7 at the Cow Hollow at Ferry Building and would like to purchase more for daily usage at home.

Thanks for the help.

Here's their website - they are also at the Saturday SF Ferry Plaza and Downtown Berkeley (and probably others) farmers markets.

They also deliver - I receive a delivery on Tuesdays. I believe it's $8/week for 1/2 pound a week.

The attraction of Blue Bottle coffee is that his roast profile is not as highly roasted (burnt to my taste) as the norm for Peets and Starbucks, and therefore more of the varietal character of the coffee comes out, and because their beans are freshly roasted.

I roast my own because I can control the roast to my taste and have more variety, for less cost than buying good roasted coffee. I use green coffee beans from Sweet Marias in Emeryville. They sell coffee roasting equipment, which is easy to use and relatively inexpensive, $100 to $600 depending on the model and most of the green beans are $5.00 to $6.00 per pound (Jamaica and Kona are much more expensive). The green beans keep indefinately and there are over 60 kinds of coffee beans to choose from. I pick up the beans there, 1455 64th Street in Emeryville and save shipping costs. They also sell espresso machines, coffee grinders and many other coffee related supplies.

He has a coffee cart on the south side of the Ferry building(Outside). Get there early because he runs out. You might want to call him and preorder your coffee and pick it up on Sat. at the Ferry building. I've done that a couple of times.
