Sushi delivery in Hell's Kitchen
It looks like this topic was addressed about a year ago, but places can come and go so quickly in this neighborhood that I thought it might be worth revisiting. I work in the West 50s and am chained to my desk during lunch. Would love to find a great (and preferably inexpensive, but I'm flexible) sushi place that delivers in the Hell's Kitchen area. Thanks in advance.

Aki Sushi II on West 52nd is pretty good and so is Shimizu on West 51st, but you'll pay more for Shimizu.

Pearl on the Sushi (9th & 48th) has incredible sushi and I think they deliver.

I second Aki Sushi II. It's my standby. Not great, but good for takeout. I always get the maki sushi comb C -- Spicy tuna, salmon, scallop rolls. I think ordering spicy rolls covers up anything that isn't excellent in cheap sushi.
They also have a nice Kani Salad of shredded crabmeat (maybe real, maybe not).

Another place that isn't so bad with very reasonable prices is Hayashi Ya (56th/9th Ave). They're exclusively a delivery place that is oddly enough Chinese owned and operated. They actually also have an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) option that is $19.95 and includes drinks (Sake, soda, tea, beer, etc.). You're able to order whatever you want off the menu. I think Pearl on the Sushi (48th/9th) is good, but its hard to argue with the prices at Hayashi.

Thanks for all the suggestions -- I just had a very nice delivered lunch from Aki Sushi II. Great rolls and the food travels well. Will definitely give the other places a try, too. Thanks!
