Boston Hound needs Chelsea resto ala Red Cat

Help! Coming to town on Thursday for an 8 o'clock event at 11th Avenue and 21st. We planned on eating at Red Cat (a favorite from past visits) but they can't fit in our party of 10 at 6pm. Are there any other comparable places in the vicinity? How's Bottino?

Cookshop is fabulous -- worthy seeing if you can get into it.

i don't reccomend bottino, very mediocre.

either way, if it's not an 8pm they'll have a better chance.

i think the food at cookshop is fabulous, though it is very difficult to get an 8pm reservation.

Cookshop is comparable in that it serves dressed up American comfort food. I don't like the food at Cookshop nearly as much, but it is a bigger space.
