Last year, I tried round challah at Blue Ribbon Bakery (so-so) and Amy's Bread (pretty good). This year, I'm going to try Citarella, because their regular challah is very good and because it's very convenient for me (I'm cooking for 20 so convenience is key!).

But other names I've collected from this board (mostly on the LES) are: Moishe's, B&H Diary, Gertel's, Le Bagel, Ruthy's

Le Bagel on 1st Avenue between 15th and 16th Street on the west side of 1st avenue. They have round ones for the holidays and they make a mean hallah 365.
