Dinner at Lenny's-- quick review

We had not been to Lenny's this summer but went on Saturday at my 6 year old son's request. We were seated promptly on the deck around 630 pm with no waiting. Waitress was quick and friendly with the drinks-- nothing special to report here as we all had soda/iced tea. Appetizers were brought quickly-- RI clam chowder was good if a bit salty, with a tasy broth and lots of clams. Calimari was excellent-- huge portion. Sauce could have been a bit spicier, but not a bad marinara type.

Entreess included 2 kids choices-- both with delicious hand cut fries. My son had a huge, delcious burger and my daughter a heapingpile of fish and chips. Fish was light and well battered. My SO had a stuffed sole that was quite good and a large portionof the fish. My chick lobster was fine-- served with unexceptional corn and baked potato. Not a standout but no problems either.

A fine meal-- nothing out of this world, but good for the kids. One annoyance-- several people smoking on the deck!
