Not sure how to get in touch with them, but there is a Sake center in Little Tokyo on 2nd and Central across from Office Depot. I beleive they are an importer, but if anyone would know it would be them.

I believe your referring to Prestige Imports which is across the Center from Sushi Gen. They are wholesale only and distribute very high-end Sakes, some are available at Bristol Farms.

I've been looking for this too. Sometimes I have found sake events posted on http://www.localwineevents.com

I know that Japon Bistro in Pasadena regularly has 5 course sake pairing dinners - they are usually a little expensive ($65-100+ per person).

Recently a friend of mine went to Monsieur Marcel in the Farmer's Market (Fairfax & 3rd) for an excellent sake tasting event. Not sure if this was a one-time/annual event or if there are more to be scheduled regularly.
