Late dinner in Venice on a monday near the Hotel Bauer

My husband and I are coming into vencie by train from Rome, checking into the hotel Bauer, and I can't possibly go to bed without a real meal. Any dining suggestions? We will probably be able to eat around 1030-11pm. All suggestions and price range wellcome!

I dould not go to any of these -- "International Food." Pretty near there is Fiaschetteria Toscana--excellent fish & wine.

Almost everywhere you should be able to find at least something to eat.

But in particular and with respect of being close to Bauer:

Antico Martini www.anticomartini.com - close to the opera, that’s why open late. More on the romantic side.

Bar-restaurant - more touristy than the rest of Venice, but nevertheless (or that is why) it can be a lot of fun.

A hidden gem away from the common path.

Neither one has –as far I know- ever been recommended on this board, but all are definitely on my personal list, because apart from chowish food they offer something special (which admittedly not everyone likes). But at all you definitely have to pay for that.
