Celebrating Birthday in Newport-Columbus Weekend

I am looking for a romantic place to have dinner in Newport to celelebrate a birthday. Price is not an issue, prefer seafood or americian cuisine.

In NO WAY would I recommend Black Pearl over Castle Hill for a meal, and certainly not for a special birthday! I'm not sure why you would think that having "lots of activity going on around it" would be a plus for a special romantic dinner? I'm baffled why someone would complain about Castle Hill's peaceful setting a FIVE MINUTE DRIVE from downtown?

The Black Pearl is a Newport institution and is located downtown with lots of activity going on around it. It is on the waterfront. Castle Inn is a good recommendation but it is located off Ocean Drive with nothing else near it.
