open fire chicken

Looking for a good mid or downtown chicken take out, broiled over
open fire. Got one?

Pio Maya on west 8th (just east of 6th ave) is a great Mexican joint w/really good rotisserie chicken...not exactly over an open fire, but very tasty.

Thanks, I'll try that one..but I still long for open fire. There is,
I notice, a new Peruvian place under construction on 7th Ave a couple
of blocks south of 10th. I'll be monitoring their progress.

There is one downtown right off John Street west of Water street. I forgot the name but they got roast chicken.

You can also pick it up in supermarkets in midtown on the east side.

There is a chicken joint on the corner of 54th and 1st.
