Anniversary Dinner

Our 3rd anniversary is coming up, and we are looking for a special dinner. Top qualities would include:

1) superb food
2) well-valued wine
3) romantic ambiance
4) somewhat fancy (so we can dress up) but doesn't have to be Daniel fancy

We loved Babbo, Bouley, and Cru. Weren't crazy about Gramercy Tavern or Union Square Cafe.

I would suggest Veritas, which fits all of your criteria. Scott Bryan is a fantastic chef who is actually in the kitchen. One of the best wine lists in the city. Somewhat fancy but not too.

You might enjoy Aureole or Danube. I'd also recommend Bouley even though you've been there.
