Lebanese Taverna in DC or Cafe Divan in Georgetown- which is BETTER? help for this weekend???
Need to decide which is better and has more unusual and better food- will be driving a long way into DC for dinner and want to make it worthwhile-
Am taking friend to dinner that LOVES MidEast Food...HELP!!

Have not been to Cafe Divan, so I can't say with absolute authority which of those two is better...
But I can tell you that Lebanese Taverna is one of my all-time favorite restaurants, so much so that I make the hour long drive into DC or McLean to get my fix. Having lived in the middle east for several years, I have to say that their food is the real deal. Amazing spices, great textures, and a really fantastic menu with enough variety to please almost anyone.
The one thing I will say is to go with a lamb shawarma over the chicken option, as their chicken tends to be a little too dry for most tastes. Definitely go for their many mezze options, those are a meal just by themselves!
