Discounts along the F line

As part of a promotion, participating restaurants and shops along the F train (which covers parts of Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens) is offering discounts just for flashing your Metrocard. Some of the deals range from 10-15% off your bill to freebies such as desserts or glass of wine. Hey, if you were going to eat there anyway, why not get a little off, right?

List of restaurants and shops: http://www.nyc.gov/html/nextstopnyc/h...

In my neighborhood of South Brooklyn note the 20% off Steve's Key Lime Pies, $1 cupcakes at Baked, 10% off at 360, free dessert at Cubana Cafe, and free wine at Savoia.

Woo hoo! The Jamaica White Castle is offering 10% off!

Actually, that's nice news. I'm planning to go to 360 in the near future. They're offering 10% off on the food portion of the bill.

    Thanks for posting that.

I haven't checked the list yet, but I'll betcha the former "F"-LINE Bagel place at Smith/9th is NOT participating...they were sued by the MTA for trademark infringement.

But then, Jews for Jesus was also cited recently.

I've spotted other entities using subway-stylized logos and wonder if they've all been "cease and desist" ordered.
