Seafood and more

I'll be visiting Boston with my boyfriend in a few weeks and we're meeting up with my parents for their 35th wedding anniversary.

Dad and I want lobster...the boyfriend doesn't do seafood.

Can you recommend a great seafood restaurant that also does things like steak really well?

TIA!

(Sorry, I'm not familiar with the city at all, so I'm not sure if this inquiry is way too general in terms of the scope of Boston's size...hopefully not.)

I think Neptune Oyster in the north end has a couple non-seafood items. The more mainstream places can handle non seafood better: Turner Fisheries, Legal, McCormick & Schmick, Kingfish Hall. Lots of seafood and a few other interesting things at Lineage in Brookline. Prezza in the north end has good grilled fish and meat (and everything else).
