Hi There,

I am visiting my friend in the upper east (2nd Ave & 69st). Can someone please recommend a great Italian restaurant that is in the $10-$15 range and hopefully within walking distance?

We have had some great dining experiences in the East Village and went to a fantastic place (Mamas Food Shop - 200 E 3rd St btw Ave A & B). But it has been much tougher to find great dining spots in this area (although Pyramida was pretty good middle eastern food)Thanks so much for helping

  1. Great italain on upper east would be Elio's
2nd avenue and 84th? Unsure if they have eggplant parm

    1. Elio's in the $10 - 15 range? More like $110! You are better off at a pizza place that offers this.

      1. You might want to try Menupages' "Find-a-Food" function, which allows you to search for a specific dish by neighborhood.
