I bought some fresh cranberry beans at the Hollywood Farmers Market on Sunday.

In a Jar from Surfas, Dried from Bay Cities Deli. Cranberry beans are also known as Italian Borlotti.

I bought some at the Fairview Gardens stand at the Santa Monica Farmers Market the other week. They have them already shelled!

If you mean cranberry beans like pinto beans, then I would try a farmer's market....I'm from KY and that's where I got them the first time I had them. I'm new here (in LA) though, so don't have an exact place to try.

The Fairview Gardens stand at the Wednesday Santa Monica farmers' market has different varieties of shelling beans from time to time. I just picked some up yesterday.

Yeah, I saw them too. I think it's cramberry with an M. Cranberries would be the fruit (like jam for turkey).

It's "Cranberry" just like the fruit. Or Borlotti in Italian.

The guy who does the potatoes at Santa Monica's organic farmers market on Arizona between 2nd and 4th has them this time of year.

Like Fresh Cranberries like the kind they make the sauce out of? You can get them at most supermarkets when the season hits. You can also get HUGE bags at Costco...
