Roberto's for 60th Birthday Party? Piccola Venezia?
Hey, my father-in-law's 60th is upcoming, he is Italian and loves Arthur Avenue, loves Roberto's. I am assuming he would love Piccola Venezia too--I know they both have private rooms with price fix...anyone have experience doing something similar in either of these venues? Anyone have a different venue to recommend?
Looking for around 20-30 people...
and we are loud!!

If you decide to go to Trattoria L'Incontro, I recommend going to La Guli around the corner for after dinner pastries to savor at home. They have NO seating there unfortunately. It's been around since 1937, and has goods comparable to, if not better than, Arthur Avenue.
Pastries, cakes, gelato, and coffees. There's plenty of great places in Astoria in addition to this, but you're right there and it's worth a visit (especially if it's the latter part of the week when *everything* is really fresh). Nice sfogliatelle there, and also had a huge pignoli tart stuffed with almond paste that was good too. 29-15 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria (718) 728-5612.After all that, here you go: http://www.trattorialincontro.com/
