Any input on some of the better brioche in NYC?
I'd go for Patisserie Claude or Financier (on Stone Street). I'm not sure where Cru gets its brioche, but it is fantastic, as well.
try GARDEN OF EDEN on 14 st or AGATA VALENTINA
thanks, but I am not a fan of either of these. any other suggestions? so far my favorites are Le Pain Quote. and Patisserie Claude.
welcome but u dont know what u are missing...its not about the Fan to what store ,its all about the good bread they carry....
speedy...i was not referring to the stores, I was referring to the brioche. I was not a fan of their brioche.
Have u try those Brioches?,,Well I have try most of Manhattan Brioche and it dont come closed to the one which GARDEN OF EDEN at 14 st carry (topknot)..They are the best Brioche hands down,,Try it...
speedy, i repeat...i have tried these brioche and I thought they were just ok. I do not agree that they are the best, but you may think so, which is fine. Claudes are much much better.
claudes are just ok with me,not of a big deal either, and i like the topknot from 14st eden.
Payard makes a good brioche. I'd stay away from their sweet stuff like tarts and the like..... it's gone downhill, but the baked good are still yummy.
Haven't been yet (boo hoo) but this is probably something that is a Bouchon specialty.
