Best Brioche?

Any input on some of the better brioche in NYC?

I'd go for Patisserie Claude or Financier (on Stone Street). I'm not sure where Cru gets its brioche, but it is fantastic, as well.

speedy, i repeat...i have tried these brioche and I thought they were just ok. I do not agree that they are the best, but you may think so, which is fine. Claudes are much much better.

Payard makes a good brioche. I'd stay away from their sweet stuff like tarts and the like..... it's gone downhill, but the baked good are still yummy.

Haven't been yet (boo hoo) but this is probably something that is a Bouchon specialty.
