Just returned from Dubai where i had an excellent wagyu steak. can anyone tell me where i can get one of these in downtown chicago area? it was the 2nd best steak ive ever had (cabana las lilas in buenos aires is #1 in case you'd like to know).

Never had one at a restaurant in Chicago, but I've gotten them from here and made them at home.

Expensive, but that shouldn't be a shock.

Last month I was in BA and ate at Cabana Las Lilas too! I sure didn't se Wagyu on the menu.

you're right, there isnt any wagyu on the menu at cabana, only pure argentino beef there! i was just saying that that place has my favorite steak.

Had a good one a few months ago at the Saloon Steakhouse. 200 E. Chestnut.

i checked out the saloon website and they do have wagyu but it seems too cheap to be true? $53 for a wagyu doesnt seem right, is it like a 6oz filet?

That might be about right in terms of size. I had a NY strip I believe.
