Any ideas for celebratory lunch in Miami on a Saturday?

So far I'm considering Nemo, Cafe Sambal and the like, but would love something more inspired. Location not critical, but good atmo & wine list is.

  1. Hmmmm. Saturday lunch. Can't think of good places open for Saturday lunch besides hotel restaurants. Friends have gone to the Standard and have said good things; however, the crowd is probably on the young side so depending on the age of your celebrants...? It's probably much more casual than Nemo and Sambal also. What about the Raleigh or Ritz Carlton? The tough thing is the wine list. It's tough enough to find somewhere with a good wine list for dinner, much less a Saturday lunch. I'll post again if I get inspired.

    1. Mark's South Beach (in the Nash Hotel) is a very nice meal; I recall the wine list being pricey (like everything else there) but had some good choices on it. Website indicates they are open daily for lunch.

      1. Thats a tough combination to come by. If the weather is good, the courtyard at the creek 28 in the indian creek hotel is great atmosphere, and they are open for lunch all week. The wine list is great if your adventuresome, not great if your looking for expensive wines. I believe that Duo does lunch as well, heard good things but I haven't been yet.
