Lancaster County Restaurant Week - THIS WEEK
Too late for us to go but I don't remember seeing this posted before. Some places - even Miller's overpriced Smorgasbord - are doing 2 for $30.
This posting is timely. My wife and I were in Lancaster yesterday at lunch time. I picked up the card for restaurant week -- 30 restaurants, 3 courses, $30 -- through September 17th. Included are some of the pricier places like the Log Cabin, Doneckers, Stockyard Inn, and The Olde Greenfield Inn (this one has always been my personal favorite).
jfr, At one time in the not too distant past a Fall or Spring drive thru the Lancaster countryside to
Donecker's for lunch or dinner was always quite enjoyable. Then they abruptly closed. By your
above post it would seem they are open again or that the restaurant card is quite out of date. Can you confirm the status of Donecker's? Thanks
Note the menus. Some fancier places aee doing a salad, chicken or pasta dish and dessert. Not large menu.
The only restaurant week occurring any more is a small one consisting of downtown restaurants that joined together as "On the Square Restaurant Association." This is from that organizations Facebook page:
