Vancouver -- mostly Asian recs please [moved from Canada board]

I'll be making my annual trip to Vancouver in a few days. I'm looking for recommendations for inexpensive Asian meals, desserts, and breakfasts.

In past visits, my favorite places have been:

Shiro's (sushi on Cambie)
Guu with garlic (izakaya on Robson)
Kintaro (ramen on Denman)
Kirin Mandarin (Mandarin dim sum, downtown)
Vij's
Shao-Lin (handmade noodles on Broadway)
Sun Sui Wah (dim sum on Main)
Cupcakes
Caffe Artigiano

If I like these places, what else should I try? Have any of these gone downhill in the past year or two? And what are local favorites for Thai, Cambodian, Burmese, or Malaysian?

Thanks very much.

I haven't been there yet myself, but I've been told that Banana Leaf has good Malaysian.

We were there in July and thought it was stellar. A few notes in my report:

Try Toshi Sushi if you've never been - very good sushi at inexpensive prices. On 16th, half block west of Main. No reservations, expect to wait 30 minutes plus, but worth it.

Gyoza King on Robson is also excellent value and very reasobly priced.

Rekados is upscale Filipino (but not expensive) on Main just north of King Edward (25th). We tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it.
