yuzu

i was just out in cali and had some unbelievable sushi. one was a hamachi sashimi served with pink peppercorns and fresh yuzu. is there anywhere to get fresh yuzu here?

The wholefoods on Washington Street in Brighton/Brookline has carried it for at least two weeks. It's been right on the corner of the aisle between the berries and the grapes. If memory serves, the come three per plastic package.

i read in the times that wholefoods is carrying yuzu. has anyone seen it? could it be that it is only carried in the NY stores? please report any sightings

I have never seen fresh yuzu anywhere in the Boston area. Even on the West coast they are hard to find because, acording to an article I read in some food magazine about a year ago,farmers in the USA have only recently started to grow it. I was introduced to yuzu when I lived in Japan and have had some amazing things made from it including a yuzu tea that I still remember well.
