Le Pain et le Vin in Brussels- opinions, please?
I am trying to find a good restaurant in Brussels for the one meal I will havethere in a couple of weeks. I would like to stay away from the touristy places that serve beer in a medieval cellar. I am inclining towards le Pain et le Vin, which sounds good and also moderately priced, which is very important. However, I wonder if that won't be anything better/different that what I can find in NY for that same money. Any suggestions of other places are very welcomed!
It's a good one, and I was pleased to see that they got their star back in the last Michelin edition. I've been there twice during the last couple of years (moved away from Brussels a year ago). Pretty minmalist and modern decor, the food is also quite modern and ambitious. Young and nice staff, the wine butler at our first visit was very good.
