If in the Encino area, Thai and I should fit the bill. Ribs and chicken (especially the ribs!) as well as other Thai standards. Has been well received by others on the board as well. Used to be a weekly staple of mine when I lived in the Valley.

Thai 'n' I is fantastic. I love the ribs, and the mee krob is decadent. The combos are inexpensive and come with chicken/ribs and a choice of two other items, including mee krob and pad thai (which is a bit on the sweet side).

There's the Original Thai Barbeque that we really enjoy. I know of three locations. There's one on 3rd Street a few blocks west of Vermont, then in the 4oo block of North Western Avenue and one in Cerritos on 183rd east of Studebaker. Their ribs and chicken are excellent.

I really like the Original Thai Barbecue. It's much better than the Thai delivery places that have popped up all over the place.

Went to the one on 3rd St west of Vermont today for lunch. We got a couple of combination platters: chicken with shrimp fried rice, and ribs with the shrimp fried rice. The chicken was delicious -- juicy, tender, and with a great sauce. My dining companion loved the chicken and the rice. (I thought that the rice was just o.k.) We both thought that the ribs were ok. The place does both eat in and take out. I would get the chicken to take out.

Interesting to hear that Orginal Thai BBQ has stood the test of time. After all these years I kind of put them out of my Thai restaurant rotation. I'll give them a try again.
