Nanaimo Bar mix?

Has anyone seen Nanaimo Bar mix anywhere in Toronto? I coulda sworn that they had it at Loblaws in the past, but now that I'm looking for it - nothing...

I've been to about 3 Loblaws and 2 No-Frills in the past week and have come up empty.

It's gotta be out there somewhere!

My parents had some at the cottage a few weekends ago, so it must still exist. It was Robin Hood brand. Definitely not as good as the real thing, but much easier.

I am pretty sure I have seen these at Dominion, but I think usually around baking seasons like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc.

You will see it closer to Christmas, I think .... it's one of those "seasonal" things they bring out.

The Hot Oven Bakery at Cloverdale Mall always has them.

Ah, the nanaimo bar, a Canadian tradition. You can make your own from scratch. Here is the recipe from the City of Nanaimo website: http://www.nanaimo.ca/visitors/index_...

My grocery store manager just told me that due to a corporate take over of Robin Hood flour, Nanaimo Bars are discontinued! I am mad! they are a Canadian tradition
