Pipkin's Pit BBQ Links Recommendation!

Not sure if these are sold nationwide, but the hot links are made by former residents of San Fracisco's Bernal Heights. I saw a very homey ad on late-night Food Network for these links. It looked like they rolled the whole neighbourhood into someone's backyard and borrowed a camcorder to shoot the spot, so I figured they must be good. Saw them on a flook in a little Natural Foods store in Bernal, so we bought some. Super spicy, nice and meaty. Not fatty at all, yet still nice and moist. Best hot-link I've ever had!

The owners of Pipkins Pit still live in San Fancisco's Bernal Heights. You can find not only their links but bbq sauce as well in Safeways and Costcos through out the San Francisco area

Thank you for reviving this old post, I must have missed it the first time. Pipkins Pit in Vallejo was a chow mystery for me for years, and I'm glad to know that I can find the product to try it.

Thank you. I hope I can track them down. I got them at the Broadway Safeway in Oakland and loved them and then they disappeared.
