We are going to Denver for a quick weekend getaway for our Anniversary. What is your suggestion for the 1 place we cannot miss while in the Mile High City. Looking for a nice dinner.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

    A couple of ideas:

A little hesitant to recomend because I am not a big game/meat eater but if you are looking for places that could be described as unforgettable and unique to Colorado I would pick The Fort and the Buckhorn Exchange.

And Flagstaff in Boulder if money is not a concern. Great view.

There are also a number of great places in Boulder if you feel like taking a short drive.

I agree with Mizuna. One of my favorites and one of the bets dining bets in Colorado.

I would say Mizuna. Authentic Italian with a great wine list.

If you want to do something in the mountains Gold Lake Spa off the peak to peak(between nederland and Estes) is a destination place.

A short review of wherever you decide to go would be appreciated.

If I had time to drive a bit and couldn't get a reservation at Frasca (in Boulder), I'd head up to Allenspark (on the way to Estes Park) and dine at the Fawnbrook Inn.

Do you have an idea of the type of food? Or location (central Denver, suburbs, Boulder, etc.,)? Casual or a little more formal?
